St Peter’s Llanbedr is part of the Vale of Grwyne parish, an amalgamation of three former parishes, Llangenny, Llanbedr and Patricio. All three churches generally follow a traditional Anglican style of worship.
This centuries old medieval church is quite large for its small surroundings. The churchyard has several Yew trees, one of which was recently dated as 3,000 years old. The church and outside has several memorials created by the Brute family of stonemasons. Some date back to the 17th Century and are notable for the colourful carved cherubs.
The church has links with Llanbedr Church in Wales school and often share seasonal services to worship and have fun as a community, notably the Christian festivals and a community harvest celebration.
Service times can be found on the church website.
